Barron Industries, a unique full-service manufacturer of investment castings, precision machined components and complete assemblies, is currently hiring for all shifts and departments. Barron’s vertically-integrated manufacturing processes include ferrous and non-ferrous investment castings, CNC machining, non-destructive testing, welding, and assembly.
Using the investment casting process, Barron Provides turnkey solutions for the most complex and safety-critical applications including Aerospace, Defense, Oil and Gas, and other commercial industries. The Michigan-based manufacturer is expanding its operations to accommodate new orders for its highly-engineered metal components. The company has acquired a new 10,000 square foot manufacturing plant and is growing its workforce by adding a second and third shift at its existing 65,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Oxford, Michigan.
Current open positions include General Labor, Metalworking, Welder, CNC Machinist, Quality Control and Process Engineer. Wages start at $14-$20 per hour based on experience.
Barron provides on the job training, and for many entry-level positions, there’s no previous experience required.
Barron also sends many employees to outside training and certification programs allowing them to advance in their jobs.
Process Engineer Carole Dudley joined the Barron team in 1984 as a wax injection machine operator. “I’m very grateful for the opportunities for advancement here at Barron Industries,” she said. “It’s a very family-oriented business.”
