There are plenty of ways to grow at Barron. The opportunities are endless when it comes to advancement. That’s why so many of our employees have been with us for so long. We provide on-the-job training and send many workers to outside training programs, allowing them to further advance. In 2019, we had 29 new hires and had 23 of our current employees receive new training certifications in CNC, robotics and casting. This is just one of the reasons we’re able to say that providing long-term employment is our specialty.
We’ve had over seven of our current employees advance from their starting positions, which is why most of our workers have been with us for over 10 years.
Our longest serving employee has been with us for 45 years! We’re proud of our staff member, Tim Kent, and grateful for his service.
We have 19 staff members that have been with us for 10 years or more. This is a huge accomplishment for us and our employees.
We’re proud to be a third generation family owned company. Family is of the utmost importance to us here at Barron.
The products we make have a purpose in the everyday lives of people.
We’re proud to be a part of that purpose. Help us build products that matter.
For almost a century, we’ve been a superior solutions provider for the casting industry. Sixty years after our founding in 1923, our company began operating as BarronCast, Inc. in Oxford, Michigan, which expanded into the Barron Industries you know today. We’re proud to be one of the first investment casting companies to receive AS9100 Certification. It’s through our dedicated solutions and our commitment to our employees and the community that we’re able to serve our clients for such an extended period of time.
Our founder, Joseph H. Barron, started Motor and Machinery Castings in Detroit, where he personally delivered parts to Henry Ford. To this day, we remain a Tier 1 supplier to Ford, and many other automotive manufacturers, and value our long-standing relationship to such titans of industry. Through this relationship, we’ve been able to grow and expand our services to become the company we are today. We work with many Fortune 500 companies, such as Ford, and are proud of our involvement in the everyday lives of people.
As a third generation family owned company, we know what it means to be a part of something great. Our family is dedicated to constantly improving our operations and giving our employees an opportunity to grow along with us. We believe that our multi-generational lineage is part of our enormous success over the years. As a family owned company, we constantly embody longevity, trust and complete stability to our employees. When you work with us, you become a part of our extended family.
We’re a family operated company. So you know how important the idea of family must be to us. We’re constantly bringing our personal family values into our everyday work environment. Due to this, we hope our employees know how much they are appreciated and are able to feel like they’re a part of something truly great. It’s important to us that our staff knows they’re able to put family first. Hard work, compassion and kindness. These are just some of the core values we bring from our own family into our work.
