In-house CAD Modeling
Barron Industries utilizes Pro-Engineer™, Unigraphics and Solidworks software to enhance and improve your designs. These engineering and design software tools allow us to quickly diagnose and alert our customers to any concerns before moving to the investment casting process. This early error proofing ultimately results in significant time and cost savings for our customers.
Engineering projects take on a variety of forms, from verification of computer-simulated testing prior to rapid prototyping to metal part design. Barron Industries uses Solid Cast™ solidification modeling software to ensure our customers high quality, high integrity castings.. This critical step is utilized for every rapid prototype or production casting to fine tune our process before ever pouring metal into the first mold.

We are experts at performing value engineering for our customers. Barron can help you reduce weight, lead-time and costs, as well as improve the functionality of your part. We specialize in converting expensive multi-piece fabrications into less costly one -piece investment castings that have won industry awards. Plus, our vertically-integrated process also includes, CNC Machining, welded fabrication and complete assembly, saving our customers time and reducing cost.
MATERIAL SELECTION RECOMMENDATIONS
With over 90 years experience in the metal casting business, we are experts when it comes to choosing the right metal for your precision investment castings. We custom create and pour a selection of over 200 ferrous and non-ferrous alloys. One of the first investment casting manufacturers to receive AS9100 Quality Certification, we are also NADCAP Certified for our Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) processes. With our in-house NDT and metallurgical lab, Barron is uniquely positioned and qualified to provide high-precision castings for aerospace, defense, oil and gas, automotive, tool and die and other performance critical applications.

Send your CAD data via our secure portal to transfer large files directly to our engineering team for review. Barron can accept data from any CAD system when saved in a common format such as .stp or .igs.
