“Barron Industries has the unique capability and certified welders to produce welded castings and complete fabrications onto armor plates.”
– Satisfied Client

Welded Fabrications
Welded fabrication is the craft of precisely joining metal to metal through MIG and TIG welding processes. Our certified armor plate and pressure vessel boiler code (ASME) welders begin with bar stock, forgings, castings and metal parts and consistently weld them into fabricated components per our clients’ specifications.

Welded fabrications are often the most economical way to create a complete assembly. At Barron Industries, this capability is offered as a standalone project or can be combined with casting and machining work.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which is more cost efficient, precision casting or welding?
Cost efficiency must be evaluated on an individual project basis. This will depend largely on the complexity of the conjoined areas and the piece volume of the project.

Which is stronger, precision casting or welding?
Strength of the finished product depends on the process used to create it. Precision casting and welding can be created with equal strength.

What grades of steel are welded at Barron Industries?
At Barron Industries, our welders are certified for multiple grades of stainless, armor and regular grade steel. We have also mastered stainless steel-to-alloy steel welding – something our competition would tell you can’t be done.

Can you provide welded fabrications as a part of a larger job?
Yes, Barron Industries can provide complete assemblies, including precision castings, welded fabrications and CNC machining.
