Challenge
A large automotive supplier was seeking one supplier to manufacture low volume (3,500 – 10,000) aluminum castings, a second supplier to machine these same castings, and a third company that could assemble all the components into a fully tested and certified complete assembly.
Solution
One of the Buyers learned about Barron Industries and began to investigate. What he found was a local investment castings foundry willing to cast, machine, purchase components, assemble and test the completed assembly…all under one roof. The end result was significant savings for the automotive supplier in the overall cost of the assembly, reduction in paperwork and improved peace of mind by placing all responsibility for this assembly securely in the hands of one company…Barron Industries.

When a design problem surfaced during the early stages in the launch of this assembly, Barron Industries summoned the necessary engineering and technical resources working hand in hand with our client and Ford Motor Company to get to the root of the problem. Barron worked closely with our client to change the tool and begin producing a newly modified part. The Barron team provided parts to the customer to retrofit all prototype and initial production vehicles with the updated design parts. In a short period of time, the issue was completely resolved to everyones satisfaction.
Is there a part you would like to discuss with Barron about casting, machining, painting, assembling and testing for your company?
